COMMUNITY DANCE 2025
“DANCE AND MUTE” Workshop by Manuel Martín
Community Workshops from 03/09/25 to 05/09/25 in Vilaller.
This activity will begin during the training and continue in the following days, heading to the Alto Ribagorçana community, where we will create a collective performance. The workshop focuses on improvisation as a tool to explore and enhance proprioception and mindfulness of the body. The idea is for each participant to focus on their own experience, fostering personal learning. We will also work on the space we share, its elements, and the possibilities it offers for creating and developing ideas, whether projecting a collective imagination or allowing it to emerge individually. The process includes instant creation, where we generate something that can be observed and shared among all, integrating both the sound and physical space.
DANSGENERE 2025
Saturday 09/06/25 in Pont de Suert
"The Illusion" NaNa Project (Andalusia), contemporary dance and clown.
What is illusion? It has no feet, but it does have wings. It has many forms, though none are concrete. It opens paths, but it doesn't walk them. It constructs images that dissipate with a breath of air. Sometimes it abandons you, or weakens you and falls. It is everything and nothing, it is and it is not, it is both the engine and the brake, it is the reason. This short, immersive dance and clown piece, designed for non-stage spaces and family audiences, "The Illusion," metaphorically questions the vulnerability of the individual and how to share it.
"MUTUAR" Batch Collective (Cádiz) and Manuel Martín (Cantabria)
Dance and Videomapping Performance, which will merge the work done in community workshops, led by Manuel Martín, with the visual art of Marta Figueredo and Francisco Sánchez (Batch Collective).
+ SIAD PROGRAMMING Proposed shows

WHERE WILL WE BE?
Next to the Cavallers reservoir, a peripheral area of the Aigüestortes i Estany d'Sant Maurici National Park, in the Vall de Boà (Lleida). There we have a base camp with tents to share, dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets. The 2 dance halls are located in the Balneario de Caldes de BoÃ, a 10-minute walk from the camp along a mountain path. The Spa also has a hotel, for those seeking a luxurious stay. In the area there is the possibility of parking with a van or caravan. Free camping is prohibited. The closest towns are Erill la Vall and BoÃ. The entire valley is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for the high value of its Romanesque Art. To get there, there are regular buses from Barcelona and Lleida to Pont de Suert, a town where the valley is mainly supplied, and from there you can take another bus to the Caldes de Boà Spa. Hitchhiking works pretty well in the area. And from the organization we can help you find links to share vehicles.

WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES CAN BE DONE?
In addition to dancing, we are very close to the Caldes de Boi Spa. And if you arrive earlier, or leave later, you can enjoy all the mountain activities: hiking, climbing, canyoning, etc. In Cavallers itself there is a strong climbing tradition and there are routes for lovers of granite: alpine climbing, sport climbing and a bouldering area. All the towns in the Valley have churches, hermitages, paintings and architecture from the Romanesque period. And not many kilometers away we can find adventure sports companies that offer activities such as rafting or canyoning. If there is something that you particularly want, do not hesitate to ask us. We can put you in contact with Mountain Guides in the area.
